The Dallas/Fort Worth Area
Friday Evening S.W.O.T 2-Meter SSB Activity Event
Look for us on 144.250 MHz
beginning at 9:00PM CST this Friday Evening. The purpose of this activity is
to get Hams to try out their rigs that have 2-Meter SSB capabilities. We will be using vertically polarization antennas
in order to hear all.
If you fail to catch us this Friday, try again the following week. This event has begun for the DFW, Texas area only and is
not a Net.
If you would like to start one in your locale, contact us and we will gladly
list it here.

Tropo Season is Here.
Expect Tropo
building from the south (Mexico
or the Gulf of Mexico) and between
West-to-East moving cold fronts. Look for strong ridges of Upper Air High Pressure systems.
Use the NWS Radar Mosaic to verify Tropo conditions (Link and narrative below).
