Hamfest/Convention Season is in Full Swing.

Let us know if you will be visiting one of these events so that you can meet up with other members or those interested in joining SWOT.

We will always try to inform you of any gathering we will attend.

Do you enjoy Es?

The season starts around April 25.

A prediction model based on 10-Meter PropNet (http://www.propnet.org) has been created for understanding the best dates and times to work them.  Follow this link. PDF Reader required.

The March/April SWOT Bulletin is out. It was mailed on March 19.

Current paid members, contact Howard, WD5DJT if you did not receive mailed or e-mailed SWOT Bulletins.  Also be sure that your contact Howard if your email address has changed.  The current Bulletin is always available to paid members at the “Current Newsletter” link. Announcing the Dallas/Fort Worth Area Friday Evening S.W.O.T  2-Meter SSB Activity Event.
Look for us on 144.250 MHz beginning at 9:00PM CST this Friday Evening. The purpose of this activity is to get Hams to try out their rigs that have 2-Meter SSB capabilities.  We will be using vertically polarization antennas in order to hear all. If you fail to catch us this Friday, try again the following week.  This event has begun for the DFW, Texas area only and is not a Net.
If you would like to start one in your locale, contact us and we will gladly list it here.

Thank you for visiting us at the Fort Worth and Irving Hamfests

It was a good to visit with all of our members. We will list the visitors in our Bulletins.

The Way SWOT Once Was
For your reading enjoyment, we have added in the “Past Newsletters” section a SWOT Bulletin from March 1979.  It was an excellent work without word processors and the Internet. Link.

Our SWOT Net Schedules are Listed Below this Section and the “SWOT Nets” link. Please support you area SWOT Net.

Remember you do not have to be a SWOT/NORCAL Member to check-in and everyone is always welcomed to join in.

Pictures of past NORCAL gatherings can be found from the “NORCAL Chapter” link, such as one from the recent Amador SWAP gathering October 13.
