Hamfest/Convention Season is in Full
Swing.
The Dayton Hamvention is this week.
Let other SWOT Members know you
are going. There are 4 other events scheduled in the U.S. from
May 16-18. Link to the ARRL Listing
Let us know if you will be visiting one of these
events so that you can meet up with other members or those interested in
joining SWOT.
We will always try to inform you of any gathering
we will attend.

The March/April SWOT Bulletin is
out. It was mailed on March 19.

e-mailed SWOT Bulletins. Also be sure that your contact Howard if
your email address has changed. The current Bulletin is always available

Announcing the Dallas/Fort Worth Area Friday
Evening S.W.O.T 2-Meter SSB Activity Event.
Look for us on 144.250 MHz beginning at 9:00PM CST this Friday Evening. The
purpose of this activity is to get Hams to try out their rigs that have
2-Meter SSB capabilities. We will be
using vertically polarization antennas in order to hear all. If you fail to
catch us this Friday, try again the following week. This event has begun for the DFW, Texas area only and
is not a Net.
If you would like to start one in your locale, contact us and we will
gladly list it here.

Tropo Season is Here.
Expect Tropo building from the south (Mexico or the Gulf of
Mexico) and between West-to-East moving cold fronts. Look for
strong ridges of Upper Air High
Pressure systems. Use the NWS Radar Mosaic to verify Tropo
conditions
